Julie Lynn Belcher was born in St. Petersburg, FL but moved to Miami three weeks after she was born. She grew up in Miami with her younger sister Tracy and her mom. Her father lives in Connecticut with her step-mom.
|
Julie left Miami for college after she graduated from Palmetto Sr. High (Oliver’s rival high school). She graduated from Florida State University (the same college that Oliver went to) and moved back down to Miami to be close to her family and start her career.
|
Julie’s first “real Job” out of college was working for a mentoring organization called Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and has her own “Little Brother” Wallace (who will be Julie’s ring barer). She has recently moved to Sarasota, FL with her husband and is pursuing her graduate degree in Elementary Education at USF.

Julie has always loved animals, and currently has two miniature poodles named Brownie and Blondie. Oliver has been a great sport about walking two poodles around the neighborhood (he calls them pit bulls, so as not to hurt their self-esteem)

Julie has known most of her best friends since middle school. Julie says, “they are amazing people, we all love and support each other…I know that my friends will always be there to support me, and I will always be there for them”
